In October, 5 artists will travel to Billund to live and work for 3 weeks. During their stay, their work will draw inspiration from the local area and culminate in an exhibition at Billund Centret as part of the festival on the 24th and 25th of October 2026.
In addition to the work of the 5 artists, the festival will feature a curated programme of experiences, talks, debates, music, performances, food and drinks.
Transformation - Festival for art and spaces is an annual festival that returns every autumn at Billund Centret. Over time, the festival will gradually grow in size and expand into the city and surrounding urban space.
The festival is free and open for all.
In 2026 it will be artists Noelia Mora Solvez, Kirke Hundevad Meng, Jacob Juhl, Sif Hedegård and Astrid Helena Frej Møller, that work across sound, light, performance, video, sculpture and installation.
