He works across installation, sculpture, text, and video, driven by a deep fascination with the human-animal as a strange threshold between nature and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through his practice, he explores different meanings of concepts such as \u201cnature\u201d, \u201clife\u201d, and \u201chuman\u201d, seeking to challenge the boundaries between what we call \u201cnatural\u201d and \u201cartificial\u201d. Her practice moves between sculpture and performance, exploring the fragility of the body, shifts in identity, and the tension between control, surrender, and vulnerability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Materials such as paper, textiles, light, and plastic serve as starting points for investigations into how time, space, and the body mutually shape one another. Her works explore how the body is affected and organised by the systems and material frameworks in which it is situated, and how these imprints become co-constitutive of our experience and identity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Astrid Helena Frej M\u00f8ller<\/strong> is an experimental composer, singer and performer working across contemporary classical music, improvised music, electronica, and mixed media performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working across genres and media, Astrid Helena\u2019s practice is driven by a recurring interest in the body, the distance or connectedness we feel toward it, and its capacity for rage, sexuality and vulnerability. Through light installations and text-based works, she explores how words create connections between places, a sense of belonging, and the systems we live within. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her works, the concrete and abstract worlds of language meet as reflections of one another. Meng is interested in illuminating how this encounter creates shifts that allow words and concepts to move between different meanings.
